Default I have dark armpits problem

maam, i used to try hair removal creams to remove hair from my underarms.
But one year ago i stopped it coz my armpits were turning black and i am sensitive to creams. Then i started shaving. But now also my underarm area is very dark, i think its due to hair remaining there? its like mens. After clear shaving also it remains dark. so i am having trouble when wearing sleeveless shirt. have to remain cosciious about it all the time.
can u please tell me some home remedy to remove the dark color from my armpits? iw ant it to be like the color of my other body parts skin. thank you.

    Dear Riya,
Darkness in the underarms occurs usually in case of hormonal imbalance. Frictional areas like underarms tends to be more pigmented or darker and hence unfortunately don't respond well to skin lightening creams.

Using dusting powder during the day will help. If you are over-weight, reducing weight will help.

Prepare a scrub of milk cream, lemon juice and sugar and scrub the dark areas with this pack twice a week. Bleach this part once a month.

    Default Dark Armpits

Hi some says waxing that area gives a cleaner and lighter look as waxing will remove the remaining hair which causes darkening. But it is a painful process.. Dont try it at home, go to a salon.

    Hi Riya,

I had a same problem. Do you have flaking of the skin or darker outer circle. If so than it is not because you use hair removing creams but it is because of a bacteria which grows on the surface of the skin.

It will not go with bleaching and it may make ur skin more sensitive. the only way to cure it would be go to a skin specialist and he should give you some ointments.

i dont know where u live but i live in UK n the doctors here gaveme pills and cream to put on it and within 2-3 months my skin became really fine.

i hope ur problem get sloved quickly.
