Lekin 3-4 saal mein bahut new user join kiye hain.............agar koi informative thread repost hota bhi hai to usme problem kya hai ???

generally woh thread hum delete kerte hain jo recently hi post kiye gaye hon..... rule within 6 month ka hai sayad....

koi thread kissi purane thread ki exact copy hota hai toh delete must hai..ie top 10 things kind of..

current event main similar threads ko merge kerte hain .. aur delete ,ager same source aur content ho..

feedback mila tho reason hamesha batata hoon.
but its impossible to inform members about the deletion. we had this discussion previously, and even admin has clarified that its not compulsory for mods to inform members about the actions taken on threads, we will address on feedbacks, and few actions had reversed too.
bina wajeh ke mods kuch bhi delete nai karega

@ricky: yeah man, thanks for pointin it out; the right method is to close the thread and post the original thread link in the repost thread. or if its an issue thread, give the reason and close it.
bt wen we do that, repost member has asked us, 'why you jus not delete it in the first place'?.

What if the that thread had more pics then the previous one...it had to be merged and not deleted!
just check that thread, thereis a mistake !

Rule of SBF : If something has been discussed in 2006/2007/2008, it MUST NOT be discussed ever again.. !! I remember I posted some Pictorial Joke and it was deleted as it was a Repost from some 2008 thread. I mean, how many members from 2008 are still active..? And relatively new members like Ricky, murtaza etc do not deserve to see it..?

Another thing, I do not see how Moderators cannot differentiate a Desicasanova from a Tom/di ck/harry. If a member like DC's thread is being deleted, he ought to know. TRUST ME, it is not hard.. !!
