    Default Oil and cholesterol

Is coconut oil safe food cooking...
I read that fried food can increase cholesterol resulting in heart attack.
if coconut oil is not safe which other oil is safe and can be used for cooking with out being afraid about health problems?

Use soyabean oil or sunflower oil for cooking. In Soyabean oil the level of saturated fats is less and is completely devoid of cholesterol. Sunflower oil is a good source of vitamin E. They are low in saturated fats. The antioxidant levels of sunflower oil helps in protecting the individuals with heart disease. Phytosterols in sunflower seeds decrease the risk of cholesterol and cancer.

But don't sideline the importance of exercise and workout.

if the oil is hydrogenated and lack essential fatty acids it can increase cholesterol

but if its unprocessed coconut oil, studies show that it may even reduce cholesterol.

How Americans have Changed their Fats
The most striking list I've read this year:

Top fats eaten at the turn of the 20th century (1900, for those who get that stuff mixed up,
    like me):

    1.butter
    2.coconut oil
    3.lard
    4.tallow (beef fat)
    5.olive oil

Fats eaten at the turn of the 21st century (or right about now):

    1.olive oil
    2.corn oil
    3.soybean oil
    4.canola oil
    5.sunflower oil

Notice that olive oil is the only one on both lists, so great has our fat consumption changed. Nothing on the second list is high in saturated fat. If sat-fat is the cause of
heart disease, one would think heart disease would be decreasing by leaps and bounds, but
    it's doing the opposite.

most of studies are flawed. because its all business.
coconut oil lobby will support their product as good, while palm, soyabean, sunflower etc will claim theirs is safe
