Default 10 good things about hindu religion

    Your health:
Unlike others Hinduism is not a religion but a way of
life. Hinduism grants you a healthy life style. The Hindu
practices like bath in the morning, do
Yoga, stay away from meat etc. promotes Health and
    hygiene.

Promote peace universally: Hinduism doesn't say that only Hindus go to
heaven, nor proclaims that only Hindu gods are the true
one. Hinduism is the only religion which
says that all paths lead to that ultimate one. An
important Hindu prayer is "Loka Samastha Sukhino
Bhavantu" which means let the whole world be
    happy!

    Respect living beings: Hindus
believe that there is divinity in every one. The Hindu
    salutation 'Namaskar', 'Namaste' or
'Vannakum' means that I bow to
    that divinity in you.

No hard and fast dogma: Hinduism
is flexible and there are really no hard and fast rules
you need to follow. It is entirely dependant
on you to choose what you want to do. There are no
particular day in the week where you must
    visit a temple.

    No conversion, no pressure: You
really don't need to convert to Hinduism and still
be a Hindu. If you want to get away there is no
hard and fast rules either. The process if you want to
adopt Hinduism/ convert is simple too.

    Care for the environment: You
will see that the temples have gardens and promote
growing of trees and vegetation. Even snakes are given
a place and fed in some places. Animals are
    given protection and shelter.

Promotes art and art forms: The
Hindu temples themselves are masterpieces of art
and sculpture. Dance and music forms an integral
part of the religion and the classical dance and music
are closely tied to Hinduism and a must
for many Hindu festivals and occasions.

    Hindu festivals: The
    fun activities associated with Hindu
festivals cannot be seen in any other religion. For
Deepavali or Diwali, you have fireworks, you
play with crackers. For Holi, you play with colors and
the list is endless. For Hindus, life is a
    celebration.

    Worship the feminine form: Hinduism
has high standards for women and Hindus worship
feminine goddesses. Hindu woman have a high place
    in the Hindu society.

    Hindus and our scriptures: The
Hindu scriptures are pearls of wisdom. They have good
morals and will help you in every walk of your
    life.

    1. If Hinduism is NOT a religion, then how do you justify the title of the thread?

2.Which Hindu books preach to take shower in the morning or do Yoga????

3.Stay away from meat is healthy??
Ask any doctor, and please know the facts before you post!!

And moreover, as far as I know, even in Islam, it is generally recommended to take shower everyday (though not mandatory)
Now my favorite part ...Give me the sources which says that Hinduism asks to stay away from meat.

Which religion says not to respect others??
Since the title of the thread says Hinduism is the best religion, it makes the sentence comparative!!

Now tell me one religion which preaches disrespect towards fellow beings!

Any particular day in Islam, Christianity or any other religion which makes it mandatory to visit religious places on any particular day??

If not, then how does Hinduism stands best on this context?

Would you please define what according to you is Hinduism?
You mean to say, me being a muslim, without converting-Can still be a hindu, right?

So I would like to know, what is that makes one Hindu.
How do you know that one is Hindu?

Which religion insists on cutting down trees and vegetation?
And secondly, if snakes/cows are worshiped, you mean to say that makes Hinduism the best religion??

And please provide sources which says that temples should have trees and should promote vegetation.

If the ancient Hindus have made temples of art/sculpture, then we have many monuments as well like the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar etc etc build by Muslims that are masterpieces...??!!

So, now how does that make Hinduism the best religion?

Which dance form is related to which festival, please let me know!

    Deepavali-crackers
    Holi-Colors
    Sankranti-Kites....

As far as I know, all these are man made customs being followed.
Could you provide me one source from any of Hindu religious books which associates festivals with all these?

Hindus worship both male/female Gods, while muslims worship one God and christians worship Jesus.
Now how does that prove that women has a high place in society?

I would say the same about other religions as well.

    Every book preaches morals.

And moreover, please be clear over which scriptures are you talking about.

If the thread was titled '10 good things about Hinduism", it was acceptable, but even then not completely acceptable.
Coz Refraining from meat, Yoga are not a part of Hindu religion in anyway. It is just a culture developed over time.

@Threadowner, when you have given such title, you owe a responsibility to justify it and I am really waiting for YOUR answers!!
