The veteran actor is all set to thrill us in his forthcoming film produced by Anurag Kashyap

After receiving accolades and adulation at the Toronto Film Festival this year, Anurag Kashyap’s Michael is now ready to grab the eyeballs of film-goers here in India. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film has Naseeruddin Shah playing the lead role of Michael. The highly accomplished actor portrays the journey of a father who is obsessively haunted by his past, and who fights all odds to make a fortune for his son.


The psychological thriller is set in the vibrant city of Kolkata which serves as a perfect backdrop for this art-house cinema. Besides Naseer, the movie will also star Bengali actors Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Rudranil Ghosh in pivotal roles. Mahie Gill too will be seen in this tense character-driven drama.
