Well. In our generation there have been quite awesome movies like Johnny gaddar
Udan
Omkara
Maqbool
Hazar chauraasi ki maa
Lakshya
Paanch
Zubeida
99
Satya
Hazaron khwahishein aisi
Saher
Lagan
DhobhiGhaat
No one killed Jessica
And many more which weren't recognised by the masses on account of a crappy wannabe-anerican culture that crept into our society over the preceding decades.

Truth be told there are many original ideas. The trick is to learn to give them their due by not blind worshipping stars and open our eyes to the sheer complexity of films such as story direction screenplay script background score cinematography etc. and most importantly, appreciate them before foreigners start writing good stuff about them.

I dont think they are running out of ideas... but they are not ready to take the risk of experimenting ..perticularly the big stars...

They r all playing safe by remaking south movies or an old superhit classic... its just to get more profit without any risk.

Ideas ki kami nahi he.. take movies like shor in the city...

new concept.... taken stories from newspapers... all clippings kind of stories... and made them into one...

and you are right when you say..... these so called big stars wont take risk of experimentation with roles, barring Amitabh Bacchan
