    Brandon Chillar (American Football)

    After an outstanding college career at UCLA, Chillar was drafted by the St Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL). After spending three years with the Rams, he was traded to the Green Bay Packers. Here, he became an integral part of the defensive unit, and he helped his team win the Super Bowl last year in February.

    Raj Bhavsar (Gymnastics)

    This Gujarati-American gymnast from Houston, was a member of the World Champion US teams in 2001 and 2003. He got his shot at the Olympics during the 2008 Beijing Games and won a team bronze with the US team. During his college years, Bhavsar attended Ohio State University and won the all-around title in 2002 for his University.

    Rajeev Ram (Tennis)

    After winning the boys 16-and-under national tennis championship, Ram went on to play for the University of Illinois. He helped his college team go 32-0 and win the national championship. Ram has turned pro since and has one singles and six doubles ATP tour titles under his belt

    Alexi Grewal (Cycling)

    He cycled his way into the hearts of Americans when he became the first American man to win an Olympic gold medal in a road cycling event. His exploits at the 1984 Los Angeles Games earned him a place in the US Bicycling Hall of Fame. 52-year-old Grewal recently announced that he would be making a comeback at the Quiznos Pro Challenge in Colorado.

    Mohini Bharadwaj (Gymnastics)

    When she won the team silver medal at the 2004 Summer Games, she became only the second Indian American to win an Olympic medal. Bharadwaj attended UCLA on a full gymnastics scholarship and won 23 individual titles during her time there. Now retired, 33-year-old Bharadwaj coaches aspiring gymnasts
