    Default 1980's Fashion Trend Setters!

    The Artist Known As Madonna

Madonna in the 80's was well known for her thrift shop looks, conical bras and her obsession with the gym.

She changed her look as often as most of us change underwear. As a peroxide blonde she has channeled Marilyn Monroe
or in another stage of her evolution, died her hair jet black for a gothic look.

She has appeared on stage in all male drag, leather and lace, wearing nothing but a leotard, and wearing every type
of undergarment imaginable as an outer garment. Madonna we love you. Keep rocking!

    The One and Only Cher

No doubt, Cher will always be considered a creative trend setter from the 80's.

Fashion wise she was known for her big curly head of dark hair, wearing black, lots of leather, long, ornate and
glittery earrings, glittery head crowns, feathers, chains and often showing as much skin as was legal.

Cher was tall, dark and thin with a serious, dreamy expression. She had the body and she did not mind flaunting it.

    The Jacket

The red jacket that Michael Jackson wore in the Thriller video, was recently sold at auction for 1.8 million dollars.

That certainly speaks volumes on Jackson's effect on style and fashion. Style wise, he was known for exaggerated
shoulders, black leather, a penchant for black and white, sequins, military jackets and excessive zippers.
