In a ceremony attended by close friends and relatives from both sides, team India's upcoming star Cheteshwar Pujara got engaged to Puja Pabari on Tuesday night.

Daughter of commodity merchant, Puja completed her schooling from a private school in Mount Abu in Rajasthan and holds a MBA degree in retail.

Pabari's basically from Jodhpur in Rajasthan are settled in Rajkot.

The 25-year old batsman has managed to secure a slot in the Indian squad announced on Monday for the India-England series.

Talented Pujara made a promising debut in the Indian side in the first Test match against New Zealand.

Pujara slammed brilliant ton to claim that he is best suitable man to fill the void created in the team after Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman's retirement.
