Girlfriends past with my boss

This Diwali our current boss gave her a diwali gift.. And she was the only person whom he gave a gift in our office.. His intentions are not good towards her which i have been noticing since quite a few days.. He has been giving quite a lot attention to her since few months.. Should she had accepted the gift or not??

In the Corporate world, you cannot refuse a Gift from the Boss.

There are Two ways of accepting Gifts:

(1) Making the other person feel important by showing excitement.
(2) By formally accepting the gift, not opening it and giving a pale Thank you.

Well,
If you're in a Government job, then maybe she could have refused the Gift. Especially when she was the only one receiving it.
I think your Girl is at fault here. We should not be receiving gifts from people, especially when we have the option of refusing.

Bring up that guy in conversation with her and see how she talks about him. You would know if she is trying to hide something or talking freely. You can also talk about past relationships. Girls feel that guys don't like their part relationships and so they tend hide that. But you can convince her that you are okay with her past, she would reveal.

If you are looking for options... Here are some vile ones.
Option 1) Try milking information through her best girl friend.
Option 2) Ask her stating the reason that relationships are better without secrets.
Option 3) Get your boss drunk and ask him.
Option 4) Is there anyway you could feed this information (about gift)/ allegation (possible affair) into the ear's of bosses wife through some external source and keep a check on it. Trust me wife's of middle aged men make better detectives.

Well if you started u relation with her when u already u knew that she had a alleged relation with boss then y the hell u care now. Even if she had that relation now its all over... Shut if Off.... Move ahead..
