I had pased 10th board exams held on feb, 2011...now i m in 12th.....i have filled iit form......bt by mistake....in the option of choosing 'year of passing 10th'..i have filled year 2010.............................is something is wrng........?????....

Dear, if you have filled up a online form then there would be a contact email id given: please email immediately to that...... if paper form filled then would be an address and phone number.... please call them ASAP....Originally Posted by Unregistered
there are many typos in applications and as long as you correct them ASAP then they would not have any effect on your application......
also, if you qualify then you will be able to correct these things while counselling......
so try to do what I have suggested, but even if that does not solve the problem.... go take the exam with full preparation.... during counselling just tell the counselor your problem....

try to get in touch with the form submission office... or any iit office, speak to them immediately..
next timealways becareful... cross check all details in form.. first make a xerox of form ,fill up in xerox.. & then cross check 2 times,then copy the details in real original form.. such things should be done with care. in future u will have lot more important paperwork..

i have passed 10th examination in 2011 and now i m preparing for mbbs this year. i have filled neet application form but by mistaken i have filled 2010 as my 10th class passing year but it is 2011.... please tell me what to do next...... prepare for exam and wait till counselling!!!

i think there should be online option to edit the form ..or you just go to ../contact college/institution which is helding this year entrance!
there will be helpline number also.[with brochure,also at the iit site] .contact and tell them your problem and it will be sorted out..
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.
there would be no option to edit an online form till a prescribed date. Find it & do it, otherwise bear it.

Oh, that was so unfortunate. Maybe your thought were block during the time you made the mistakes. However, you can still do something about it as what other had suggested.
Do you have the form in your hand (copy I mean), there must be some rules in it, read it, solution would be there only.
