The Single Ladies singer has hit out at what she thinks is a distinct lack of powerful women in the male dominated music industry - as he documentary Life is But a Dream documentary aired this weekend.
Beyoncé, 31, is good friends with First Lady Michelle Obama, and she has publicly thanked her in the past for being a role model to millions of little girls.
