Here is a list of the top cars showcased at the Geneva Auto Show 2013.

Peugeot's new crossover, the 2008 was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show 2013. Though the featured version was a production one, it didn't have the quirky lime green paint first showcased at last year%u2019s Paris show. That saying, the crossover still looked stunning. It will play second fiddle to the bigger 3008 CUV.

This is Aston Martin Rapide%u2019s Shooting Brake unveiled by coach maker Bertone at the Geneva Auto Show 2013. Called the Jet 2 2, the engineers from Bertone used the Rapide as a base and sculpted the rear end of the car to adhere to the shooting brake format. Bertone says that the cargo space has improved and inside, the rear seats can be electrically reclined.

SsangYong%u2019s design language has often been criticised but the SIV-1 Concept, we like. Poised to be a production crossover, the SIV-1 has aggressive bumpers and a high waistline.

Chinese car company Qoros displayed its 3 Sedan at the ongoing Geneva Auto Show. It looks like the new Passat externally as also internally. It is 4615mm long and 1839mm wide, which with a wheelbase of 2690mm, promises to translate into good seating space.

Volkswagen always had the Up! in various formats at motor shows. Now, the German auto giant has unveiled the Cross Up! in its production guise at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. The Cross Up! features a body cladding, which would take care of scuffs and marks from those daily excursions into the wild. It has new 16-inch alloys with 185 section tyres. The dashboard can still be ordered in black, red and silver and there are new kickplates as well.

While the Rodius in its earlier avatar would have looked plain, er...unappealing, the new one displayed at the Geneva Auto Show looks okay. An altered face makes up for all the difference. The interiors have the usual fare expected from this class %u2013 heated seats, all-around power windows and the likes, not anything exceptional.

Spain gives us some of the best racers so it%u2019s only natural that they give us some amazing vehicles too and Spania GTA have done just that with the latest version of their Spano supercar. It has all the right ingredients – a carbon fibre and titanium monocoque keeps weight down to just 1350kg while a twin turbo 8.5 litre V10 makes a huge 900PS and 1000Nm (limited) of torque.

Brabus is that other Mercedes Benz tuning specialist whose cars border on the clinically insane. Take for example this new 800 roadster. It%u2019s based on the new SL65AMG and yes it makes 800, well 811PS to be precise. But what really blows us away is the torque figure – the twin turbo 6.0-lire V12 makes a mind numbing 1420Nm of torque, which is more than almost every production hyper car today, Veyron, LaFerrari, P1 included.

The A45 AMG is a hatchback of amazing numbers. The relatively small sounding 2.0-litre turbocharged four cylinder engine makes a mind bending 360PS and 450Nm.

his is another concept car but it is essentially a window into what Audi has in store for the near future in terms of hybrid vehicles. The five door hatch uses a parallel twin hybrid system that utilizes a 1.4-litre turbo four cylinder that generates 150PS and 250Nm.

Did you know that Ferrari%u2019s board of directors include an Apple executive? Eddy Cue, who works with Apple is one of the board directors. Taking this association further, the Italian car manufacturer announced at the Geneva Auto Show 2013 that the FF will now have Siri integration and iPad Minis as standard. However, it is still not clear if this deal will stretch to Ferrari’s other cars or not.

Kia Provo: Very funky looking car that is intended to take on the Mini. The flat sides have just enough definition to make it look chunky and funky. The full width headlmap is a cute, if showcar only, detail that adds immeasurably to the idea of the car. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Kia%u2019s design chops just went up notches!

Chevrolet unveiled their 2014 Corvette Stingray at the Geneva Auto Show. It will be the most powerful standard Corvette in the model's history. A 6.2 litre V8 puts out 450PS and 610Nm to the rear wheels.
