Home made Pre-workout protein bars, i made some and they're not bad at all. Eat 45mins before a workout with a cup of black coffee. If you haven't time for breakfast and fancy working out at 5am this is a must in order to prevent muscle loss and plateau
How to make:
Melt 300g of 90% pure dark organic chocolate
Add a small cup of liquid, i used non-dairy almond milk
Add 5ml of vanilla essence
Add 4 cups of oats
Add a handful of crushed mixed nuts
Add 4 small cups of whey protein powder
Add a small amount of honey
Add a small amount of peanut butter
Mix the lot and place onto foil or grease proof paper then into a cake tin
Refrigerate overnight
Cut into bars the next morning
Tip,to reduce fat skip the peanut butter
Also, you can open up a few bcaa capsules and sprinkle onto the mixture before it sets. Can add creatine as well
Per bar apprx:
Protein 30g
Carbs 25
