Question How to handover living sane brain to clinical researchers for experimentations?

How to handover living sane brain to clinical researchers for experimentations?

Explanation: Brain scientists sometimes require live subjects to conduct experiments on. How to volunteer to be such subject?

Citing examples to drive home the meaning of clinical researcher:

    • Karl Landsteiner who discovered blood types.

    • Alexander Fleming who discovered penicillin.

Below are the questions I have:

Sometimes when patients don’t get answers from conventional doctors, they would like to approach researchers. How should patients go about contacting researchers? Whom and where should patients contact them? How should patients prepare for selection process to be a subject? What are the criteria for selection?

Below is the list of things I can do. If a person can do these simple tasks, it shows his brain is still in working condition and can be used by scientists to do research on living brain. It means the brain is still fit for experimentation.

    • I can create 3-dimensional solid models using CAD/CAM software.

    • I can play basic level chess.

    • I can solve simple easy level of sudoku.

    • I can create blogs to post my ideas.

    • I can identify good movies, TV shows, music etc.

    • Some types of memory are still intact in me.

    P. S.: Lest readers misunderstand…

It is to help people suffering from diseases causing extreme inefficiency. It is to create employment for people having neurological disorders which rendered them virtually handicapped. Some conditions are subtle. They damage the patient just enough to ruin their life but not enough for others to be able to notice it. People suffering from such conditions badly need research program for rehabilitation. It is to restore the mental health essential to earn basic livelihood. The research may also contribute to sciences of brain and neurology. Some people’s faculties are so damaged that the only option is to become professional guinea pigs. If there is any alternative, the relevant organizations specializing in this field should show the way.

    P. S. S.: Don’t suggest asking doctors. Doctors don’t help in this regard (searching clinical researchers). Doctors are least bothered about the health of patients. If they can’t comprehend the disease, they will use the name of some universal condition to make the diagnosis and dismiss the case.
