Thumbs up Ur Body Language Can Help U in Networking With People!

    Wear A Pastel Tie.

There's science behind the tie's success, says body language expert David Givens.
It covers the part of the throat that evokes vulnerability, the vertical line down your chest makes you appear taller
and the pastel color is approachable and friendly

    Keep Your Jacket On

The suit jacket is a classic for a reason, says Givens.
The cut of the lapels helps emphasize the barrel chest and loose sleeves help thicken the arms,
making you appear more powerful. Some padding also helps mask unconscious shrugging of the shoulders, helping you seem more confident.

Keep Your Hands On The Table

During sit-down meetings, leaving your hands on the table shows that you're engaged in the discussion, says Givens.
Keeping them hidden, he says, leaves the impression that you're withdrawn and not part of the team

    Touch Base

When delivering a memo or note, pause to put your hand on the desk or table where the person you want to notice you
is sitting. The tiny motion creates a connection in that person's mind.

    Keep Moving

Humans are wired to be attracted to movement, which means that standing in the corner sipping your cocktail isn't the best way to get noticed.
Walk confidently past your target as you refill your drink.
Keep a respectful distance but get close enough to enter his or her line of sight.

    Know When To Sit Still

In a one-on-one situation, don't fidget, says Harvard Business School career coach Tim Butler.
Extraneous motion, dubbed "psycho motor overflow" by psychologists, is typically interpreted as anxiety.

    Share The Attention

Don't waste all of your eye contact on the person you seek to impress, says Butler. Decisions are often made by groups, not individuals,
and making eye contact with everyone helps create an overall impression.

    Shake It Up

A subtle elbow touch during a handshake helps draw a person closer to you, says business consultant Keith Ferrazzi.
Grasping that person's hand in both of yours while you shake shows that you're sincere

    Take Note

Keep a pen and paper handy to jot down notes while you're networking. Remembering details about someone's job,
family and interests can prove useful in later conversations
