    Default Time to axe Sachin?

As the game becomes more competitive, its getting harder and harder to be retain in the final 11 especially when there are another half a dozen young lads waiting in the queue. Sachin has served us all these 16 years and this has been a golden era for Indian cricket. We all have grown watching him and tearing opponents apart. But should we make him sit on his past laurels or should we give chance to more Sachins in the making. Time to decide guyz, have a take!

    Default Who says So?

Jingoism apart--he still remains one of the finest players of the team. Two three below averages performances do not invite Axe.
By the same standards even Sehwag too doesn't qualify for a spot in the Elevern. After his Multan outing we hardly seem him perform. Nevertheless, not that Ganguly's gone--doesn't mean everyone needs to be 'axed'

    Default No need!

I think so...... there is no need to axe Sachin till we dont get another Sachin.
We can search for another Sachin side by side.

    Default team India

Hey guys a single defeat and we are already discussing another reshuffle. Team's prospects can't be changed by replacement of a player or players. It's more about teamwork, wherein every body has a specific role to play. Presently, a number of young faces are around, captain is new, coach is new, Sachin is back after a long time. The team needs some time to settle down before the selectors make up their minds on top eleven names. There is a lot of anxiety among the players, seniors under great pressure to consolidate their positions and young ones for making it to the squad. It is going to be better soon.

    Thumbs up aggressive ways!

I think Indian team may do well..even if sachin is not in the team..now he is no longer the lone force in the batting lineup...
But for sachin..its a great opportunity to get back to his aggressive ways as his getting out early now doesnt necessarly means a batting collapse...

I think there is a lot of cricket still left in sachin..and i guess he should get enough chances, yet..to show his enormous talent...

    Default Cricket vs. Sachin

All said and done the game is always bigger than a player. For Sachin is here due to Cricket not cricket due to Sachin. To err is human and to forget is the Board's way.

But people are fond of winning ways only. At least going down honourably. The way Indians succumbed to SA in Calcutta was indeed shameful and it raises question not only about Sachin--but many others too!

I would appreciate if we can do away with personal comments and stick to the topic to make it more interesting for others to read. Thanks for your understanding.

    Default A Draw at last

All the die hard cricket fans can have a sigh of relief at last. India managed a respectable draw, hats off to The Great Indian Wall. This series exposed weekness of our batters in front of quality swing bowling. Its quite strange that toss played a decisive roll in the match throughout the series. Sachin managed a meager 36 runs in all of 4 innings. His counterpart is shining after being shown the way. Saurav managed a brilliant hundred supported by some good bowling figures in first class version of the game. May be these cricketers learn a bit late!!!!!!

With Sachin Tendulkar in the dressing room, the opposition does gets a phobia. The younger guys like pathan and dhoni can really blossom under him. if you really wanna axe................... f*** kiran more....... he s****
