    Default Starring Angelina Jolie's lips

    ‘Changeling’

A close-up shot of Angelina Jolie’s flawless face dominates the "Changeling" poster. From the corner of the page, a small boy gazes outward, frightened. And with good reason. Angie’s gargantuan floating head could swallow him whole.

This is hardly the first time Angie’s visage has been blown up to elephantine proportions on a movie ad. In fact, posters for Angie’s films almost invariably resemble this “Changeling” billboard.

The message? Come watch 90 minutes of these gently arched brows, gray cat eyes and pursed pink lips. You won’t even care what the movie is about.

    ‘Taking Lives’

The poster for 2004’s “Taking Lives” elevated Angelina-Jolie-lip-worship to new heights. The top of her noggin is completely cut out of the frame in order to more prominently feature her kisser.

Kiefer Sutherland co-starred in the 2004 crime drama at the height of his “24” fame, but designers left him off the poster completely, instead scribbling his name beneath Angie’s floating mouth.

    ‘Beyond Borders’

If God had a headshot, it might look something like this.

In the ad for 2003’s “Beyond Borders,” Angie’s giant head can not even be contained by the four walls of the poster. In the left-hand corner, Clive Owen gazes longingly into the distance. From the poster, one assumes this film is about a lonesome giantess and her doomed romance with a dashingly handsome field gnome.

    ‘Life or Something Like It’

When planning the poster for this love story, designers sought to draw attention to Angie’s luscious lips without leaving her love interest off the poster completely. The solution? Put a picture of Edward Burns in Angelina’s mouth. Duh.

    ‘Without Evidence’

Oh, the humanity! When “Without Evidence" was released in 1995, Angelina was not yet the mega-star she is today, and her giant floating head was forced to share a poster with another actor.

    ‘Gia’

Why put a second actor on the poster when you can just add a second Angelina?

    ‘Shark Tale’

What, you thought that just because “Shark Tale” is animated, Angie’s lips would not make it onto the poster?

Ha! You underestimate the power of this woman’s kisser. Angie voiced the character of Lola, the lipsticked fish on the left.

    ‘Hell's Kitchen’

“Hell’s Kitchen” poster designers had an interesting task. Evoke the gritty colorless feeling of an old crime drama, but not at the expense of Angie’s mouth. Thus, the poster is all monochromatic, aside from Ms. Jolie’s blood-red kisser.
