Gleeden, an extramarital dating app, conducted an online survey after the beginning of Unlock 1.0 in India to find out how far Indians would go to meet their love.

The survey was rolled out among 1,000 of its newly joined users from Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune.

According to the report, 75% users were excited meet their love interests if provided an opportunity.

Users were also asked what they thought about infidelity and casual affairs in the lockdown.

Some interesting findings from the survey:

    1. The 'heart' is always dicey

Can you cheat on your spouse and still love her/him at the same time?

47% participants said they cannot share the same level of emotions with two different people.

45.6% users felt their shared intimacy won't affect their current relationship.

7.4% were indecisive about their stand on shared intimacy with their spouses.

    2. Why I cheated

Infidelity is still a taboo in India.

Lack of intimacy and compatibility in a relationship are just the kick starters to the ultimate fate.

When asked to share their reasons why they'd cheat on their partner, 37% people said they committed infidelity because they wanted to try out something new or spice up their existing relationship.

About 36% of people said they are in love with someone else other than their spouses.

27% said they chose to cheat when they realised that their current partner is not the right match for them both emotionally and physically.

    3. 'Parties’ are the place to make it happen

About 23% of people admitted that they look out for new relationships or flings in a party gathering while 22% of people would do this stunt on a vacation or while travelling.

For 19%, the best time is when their spouse is not at home or is out for a business trip.

12% of them are willing to find new connections within their office premises.

24% of total users are willing to try out multiple measures to find out their love interest.

      4. Keep it casual!

It seems that casual relationships are the need of the hour.

38% respondents said they would like to get into a new relationship without making serious future commitments.

About 23% of the users still believe in the old school love and are looking for future life partners.

Interestingly, about 39% users said they were only interested in one time affairs and are not looking out for anything serious.
